Sunday Sippin’: Stirred Martini

Is there any drink more iconic than the Martini? This version takes you to the classic ratio of 5 parts gin to 1 part vermouth. Our version uses Lillet Blanc to complement the complexity of our chosen gin.

2 1/2 oz Hendrick’s Gin
1/2 oz Lillet Blanc
Lemon Twist

Chill your Martini glass by filling it with ice. Set aside.

Fill a mixing glass with ice. Add gin and ½ oz Lillet Blanc. Using a bar spoon, thoroughly mix the ingredients together, giving the ice time to chill the ingredients and slightly dilute the cocktail.

Toss the ice out of your now-chilled Martini glass. Strain the cocktail into the glass in an elegant circular motion. Peel a nice wide twist from the lemon over the martini. Twist the peel and slide it into the glass.
