A classic Moscow Mule includes a nice dose of fresh citrus added to a combination of ginger beer and vodka. This version ramps up the complexity with the addition of Earl Grey tea infused simple syrup for a sophisticated twist.
3/4 oz Earl Grey Simple Syrup (recipe below)
3/4 oz Fresh Lime Juice
1 1/2 oz Reyka Vodka
To make the Earl Grey simple syrup, brew 4 bags of Earl Grey tea in a cup of hot water. Add 1 cup of sugar. Mix until clear and then let cool.
Add vodka, simple syrup and lime juice to a mixing glass; shake well. Fill a copper mug with ice and strain the cocktail into it. Top with ginger beer and stir to mix. Garnish with a wedge of lime.
