With over a decade of winemaking experience, The Prisoner Wine Company not only knows what it takes to make a great wine, they have a passion for it. They believe that all of the wines and their related vineyards have their own personality and they work hard to let each one express itself. They seek out to source varietals from some of the best vineyards and appellations across California in order to create interesting wine blends that are thought provoking and approachable.

As the only white wine in the series, Blindfold, is the fourth wine in our installment and was created to be a companion white wine to the incredibly popular Zinfandel. Blindfold is a creative and intriguing white blend that starts with a classic Chardonnay base and adds in the aromatic white varieties of Roussanne, Viognier, Grenache Blanc, Chenin Blanc, and Marsanne. This blend creates a complex yet approachable wine that complements The Prisoner’s dark and enticing blend.

The grapes from this blend are sourced from some of the most recognized regions throughout California which adds to the complexity and intensity of the wine. Upon opening a bottle you’ll find inviting aromas of honeysuckle, grilled white peach and apricot. With a creamy and rich finish that is almost a meal in itself, Blindfold pairs great with fish, poultry or even pork making it the perfect full-bodied white blend.

All five wines can be found at select ABC Fine Wine & Spirits retailers throughout Florida, as well as online at abcfws.com.
