International Beer Day

Whether you’re saying prost, cheers or salud, there’s a beer to love on today. And you don’t need to limit it to one – international beer flights are always a fun Saturday night get together idea. Just make sure that International Beer Day doesn’t pass without you trying one of these international beers.

Bready yeast, enticing banana esters and a palate of subtle clove and coriander make this German brew a favorite amongst true craft brew geeks.

Drink Japanese beer

  • Look for Sapporo in our stores

product-premium

Sweet grain dominates in this refreshing beer. A subtle hop finish adds interest.

Drink American beer

  • Look for Erie Black Cherry in our stores

If a cherry shandy and a raspberry sour had a baby, this would be it. Enjoy with dessert or cheeses.

One of the new beers I’ve tried at ABCFWS is from the PINKUS Brewery in Germany. It is their PILSNER. This I have to say is probably the best Craft beer I’ve ever tasted, definitely the best Pilsner. This beer is so well balanced as you taste the hops but not bitter at all, just full of flavor. This brewery began in 1816 and they have quite a story if you check out their web site. This also happens to be an Organic beer. Abosilutely Amazing!

Hey Dave! So glad we were able to get you an incredible beer to drink on International Beer Day! Keep that one in mind for Oktoberfest (it’s coming up!). It might be pilsner, but it’s still German, so we think it counts. Cheers!
