Now more than ever, food (and beverage) photography is prominent in the lives of many. From everyday breakfast selfies, to ornate and elaborate feasts, the documentation of food well made is of the utmost importance to people. Many times, we try to replicate a picture we see on Pinterest only to be let down by the complications of the preparations with an end result looking nothing close to what we were aiming for.
Having a picture perfect party spread worthy of Pinterest is something every party thrower and food photography know-hower aspires to. Luckily for us, I found a cocktail that’s stunning AND easy–no trade offs here. This fun and easy cocktail recipe is not only sure to please your party guests, but also sure to blow away those other brunch-doers with minimal effort.
The tequila sunrise mimosa is a clever combination of two classic cocktails that both utilize orange juice: the beautiful tequila sunrise and the ever-elegant mimosa. The smaller portion size and addition of bubbles makes the tequila sunrise a less-heavy option while the mimosa gets a glamorous makeover with beautiful layers of gorgeous color. It’s a union that’s mutually beneficial.
The Tequila Sunrise Mimosa
It’s so easy that literally all you have to do is layer each (already chilled) component into a flute glass. The different densities will allow for a beautiful blend of colors once the grenadine settles on the bottom. Try this recipe with Tierra Fertil and Graham Beck or Cuesta Mesa Gold Tequila and Mas Vida Brut Cava, and adjust the sweetness level by adding more or less grenadine.
